Birkin Walking tour nel quartiere Castello
An exclusive walking tour dedicated to our guests, organized and curated directly by Birkin. The experience takes place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and is led by a certified guide who will accompany you on an hour-long walk to discover the Castello district.
Through secrets, anecdotes, and hidden glimpses, you will learn about one of the most fascinating neighborhoods in Cagliari, with panoramic viewpoints perfect for taking beautiful photographs. The experience is reserved for a small group of participants to ensure an intimate and high-quality atmosphere.
Aperitivo & Cooking Class: esperienza iconica del Birkin
An exclusive culinary experience lasting approximately 3 hours, held at Birkin Castello, where you’ll learn to prepare traditional dishes. We’ll start with a chat and a welcome aperitif to get you in the authentic mood of Sardinian cuisine and meet the local chef who will guide the experience.
With step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to prepare a selection of traditional dishes, surrounded by aromas, stories, and little family secrets. An intimate and authentic experience, reserved exclusively for Birkin guests. The experience will conclude with a tasting of the dishes you’ve prepared together, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make the evening a special memory.
Dinner at Casa Carboni in the Tratalias countryside
A unique gastronomic experience, hosted in the historic rural home of the Carboni family, which retains its historical authenticity. The rooms preserve and showcase original furnishings, clothing, and objects, precious testimonies to Sardinian rural life and its most authentic memories.
Here, around a lavishly laid table, you will enjoy a dinner prepared with ingredients grown and raised directly by the Carboni family: genuine products of the highest quality, which tell the story of the territory better than any recipe.
The evening thus becomes a journey into Sardinian food and wine culture, made up of flavors, stories, and traditions handed down from generation to generation. Birkin Yacht Experience
Explore the coast of Villasimius aboard Kaya, an elegant 14-meter Fairline Phantom 46 yacht designed to offer comfort and stability for a pleasant sailing experience.
The Birkin Yacht Experience allows our guests to enjoy a special day exploring the turquoise waters, hidden coves, and long sandy beaches of beautiful Villasimius, all while enjoying the atmosphere and comfort of a private yacht. Birkin guests can reserve their spot on board without having to charter the entire vessel; the number of participants will be limited to ensure an intimate and relaxing experience.
The day begins at the Villasimius marina and lasts approximately 8 hours. After a brief welcome, the yacht will leave the harbor and set sail for the spectacular natural pools, where guests can take their first swim of the day or continue relaxing on the yacht’s deck. The cruise will continue to Cala Sinzias, one of the most scenic beaches in the area, where we recommend snorkeling. During stops, an aperitif featuring typical Sardinian products will be served along with a light lunch, before returning to the port of Villasimius in the afternoon.
What's included: professional skipper, fuel, soft drinks, an aperitif, and a light lunch on board, as well as stops for swimming and beach towels for guests.

Walking tour in the historic district of Castello
During the walk through the historic district of Castello, the center of the social, political, cultural, military and religious life of the city from its foundation to the present day, you will get to know from the outside the Pisan towers of San Pancrazio and dell'Elefante, the Bastion of Saint Remy, visit from the inside the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Viceroy Palace, the symbol of the city's political power. Along the way we will relive anecdotes and little stories of the people of the neighborhood, curiosities and peculiarities related to its history, while you will admire beautiful views of Cagliari and the sea from its most scenic spots.
Between crypts and tunnels: underground tours of Cagliari
An excursion to discover the underground cavities of the City of Cagliari that, from Phoenician times onward, have been protagonists of the city's history until becoming a refuge during the tragic bombings of 1943. During the tour you will visit the Crypt of the Holy Sepulchre, located in today's Marina district, and then move on to the Crypt of Santa Restituta, a magnificent example of late Roman and Byzantine architecture. Inside we will find tales, superstitions and legends related to the city's truest quarter. The tour will end in the Gallery of the Salesians, excavated used as an anti-aircraft shelter during World War II.
Cagliari's flavors: food and wine tour
A fascinating sensory journey to discover the flavors of our city, between the historic districts of Marina and Castello, from aperitifs to desserts. Accompanied by our guide, you will first explore the Marina district, where the first stop will be to discover traditional seafood cuisine, with tastings of aperitifs, mussel soup, fried gianchetti, and a good glass of wine. From here, we will move on to the Castello district where, in a charming shop at the foot of the Elephant Tower, we will discover the culinary traditions of the Sardinian hinterland, with cured meats and cheeses accompanied by a glass of red wine. On the way back, we will stop at one of the city's historic cafés, opened in the second half of the 19th century, where we will taste typical Sardinian desserts and their famous meringues.
At the foot of the Devil's Saddle in Sup!
In the beautiful setting of the Sella del Diavolo (Devil's Saddle), a stone's throw from Cagliari, we will visit the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf by gently paddling over the SUP, surrounded by the imposing overhanging limestone coastline, a place full of energy and legends. A morning of sport and relaxation, surrounded by unspoiled nature, accompanied by selected good music. Thenecessary equipment for the excursion, from Sups to wetsuits will be provided by Marco, the instructor who will follow you and teach balance on the board. Confirmation of the excursion can only be made 24 hours in advance, depending on weather conditions.
Old town tour by electric bike
With this tour you will explore the Historic City, having a magical experience riding an e-bike. The heart of Cagliari stands in a prominent position, which thanks to the e-bike you will reach without the slightest physical effort, especially during Cagliari's sunny days! The tour starts from the Marina district until you reach Villanova. You will ride and get to know closely the most hidden and fascinating alleys of the old city, alternating the itinerary with pleasant stops to take some photos and admire the view. Finally you will reach the old quarter of Castello, among historic buildings, Pisan towers and ramparts, up to the Roman amphitheater with the possibility of visiting the Cathedral of Santa Maria.
Segway tour in the flamingo oasis
The Segway Tour will take you to discover the Molentargius Natural Park, a green oasis and home to important remains of industrial archaeology, with historic salt pans and home to pink flamingos. The tour, departing from the Port of Cagliari, will ride along the new bike path that runs along the Palafitta canal, then reach the Molentargius Park. From here we will immerse ourselves in history and admire the remains of theAncient Salt City, which for centuries characterized the local economy.

A tailor-made walk that will take us in front of a Nuraghe, a Spanish turret or magnificent energetic places in the company of Fulvio and Daniela, Yoga and Mindfulness teachers, GAE guides and passionate explorers of Sardinian landscapes.

Feel like starting your day with a practice dedicated to you and your body? Together we will guide you in the practice of Yoga, for the well-being of your mind and body, ranging fromHatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and up to Yoga Nidra. You can decide the location together with the instructors, Fulvio and Daniela, outdoors, perhaps watching the sea at sunset, or in the Birkin Hotel facility where you are staying.
Tour and sunset aperitif at St. Elias Lighthouse
A relaxing tour that will take you to one of the most beautiful places in Cagliari, Capo Sant'Elia. Walking along the paths of the hill, accompanied by the evocative colors of sunset, you will discover numerous sites of historical and natural interest, breathtaking views and unexpected glimpses of the city of Cagliari. We will visit World War II battery C135 with its underground tunnels, Sant'Ignazio fort, tower and lighthouse, ending with a tasty aperitif watching the sea at sunset.
Tour of Molentargius Park – half day
A magical place nestled inthe metropolitan area of Cagliari, famous for having hosted one of the most productive salt factories in Europe, today it is an important natural site due to the presence of many species of water birds, primarily the famous pink flamingos. The tour will start from the Monte Urpinu Panoramic Terrace, where we will admire the Molentargius area from above, before moving into the park where we will begin our birdwatching tour.
Boat tour to discover the Gulf of Angels
This group tour by dinghy will take you on a discovery of some of the most iconic areas of Cagliari's coastline. You will admire the majestic limestone cliffs, beaches and crystal clear waters that characterize this breathtaking part of Sardinia. During the trip, there will be stops for swimming and snorkeling, exploring sea caves and perhaps spotting some dolphins. Sunset aperitif beneath the Devil's Saddle
Imagine gliding gently through the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Cagliari on a 10-meter dinghy during the magical golden hour. Under the Sella del Diavolo, after a 2-hour mini tour of the coast at sunset, you can enjoy a delicious Sardinian aperitif, consisting of a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, carasau bread, snacks, and a glass of Sardinian sparkling wine, Vermentino, or Ichnusa beer. The tour is perfect for couples looking for a romantic moment or a group of friends who want to have fun.
